Juan, the child with autism who began to interact daily with his robotic friend Aisoy a year ago, confirms his positive evolution and his quality of life improvement.
Several months ago we told you the wonderful and amazing story of Juan, a child diagnosed with ASD, who didn't talk and play. He avoided to contact with other people. After several weeks using Aisoy1 daily and playing with basic routines coded by her mother, Juan began to open and communicate with his new friend. His initial answer was incredible. And his posterior evolution too.
Many cases show that the initial evolution stop after time without a clear explanation for that.
We are very pride to know that after all this time Juan doesn't stop his progression and continues his positive improvement. His relation with other people shows a notable improvement. And his relation with his friend Aisoy1 is magic and fun. Every day he plays with it proactively and Aisoy1 learns him new useful things for his life. The following picture Aisoy1 is learning him maths a little. And, the most importan thing, Juan is very happy.
Cases as Juan reinforce our compromise to create emotional robots which improve people's quality of life. "You feel a big emotion when you put in the parent's shoes who are seeing their children's suffer. Then, you think about the potential of robots and how can contribute to alleviate disorders as autism", says José Manuel del Río, CEO of Aisoy Robotics. And he adds: "But, above all, you have a enormous satisfaction when you know that technology you have created could be so useful for improving the quality of life of so many people. That's the main reason to start to collaborate with Clínica Universitaria UMH in a project with a key objective: to show evidence about the improvement of using Aisoy1 in therapies and make its use easier for parents and therapists".
Aisoy creates emotional robots for changing the way children play and learn. And makes them affordable for everyone. Since the first day, we participate and collaborate with people and initiatives aligned with us.
